The Minister of Forestry has recently issued an amendment to the re-registration procedures for primary industries involved in forest products and simply extends the period for re-registration until 30 April 2006 from the previous cut-off date of 31 December 2004 (Article 7).
Furthermore, the Regulation amends Article 9 and permits businesses whose re-registrations were rejected as a result of being submitted after 31 December 2004 may now be re-submitted pursuant to the amended time frame.
Finally, the Regulation adds an additional paragraph to Article 11. This paragraph states that re-registration permits that have already been issued are not valid for integrated forest industry products.
This Regulation has been in force since 7 September 2005.
