Development and Empowerment of Water-Using Farmer Groups

Minister of Agriculture Regulation No. 79/Permentan/OT.140/12/2012 on Guidelines for Developing and Empowering Water-Using Farmer Groups (“Regulation”) was issued to provide a regulatory framework on how to form, develop, and empower Water-Using Farmer Groups (Perkumpulan Petani Pemakai Air – “P3A”).

The Regulation concerns companies that use the same water resources as farmers, which includes companies that engage in: water resources, manufacturing, plantations, as well as farmers.
