Simpler Way to obtain a Recommendation to Import Horticulture Products

Minister of Agriculture (“Minister”) has issued Regulation No. 47/PERMENTAN/OT.140/4/2013 on Horticultural Product Import Recommendation (“2013 Regulation”) to simplify the process of securing the recommendation to import horticultural products (“RIPH”) by integrating the application process with  INATRADE.[1]

Prior to the 2013 Regulation, the same matter was regulated under Minister Regulation No 60/PERMENTAN/OT.140/9/2012 (“2012 Regulation”). However the 2012 Regulation was considered to be inefficient as it does not regulate the process of securing RIPH part of the INATRADE service.
