In an effort to develop the horticulture industry, the Government has issued Government Regulation No. 25 of 2014 on Facilities and Incentives for Horticulture Businesses (“Regulation”).[1] To achieve this objective, the central and regional governments (“Government”) will provide facilities and incentives for farmers, farmer associations, individuals and businesses engaged in horticulture businesses (collectively referred to as “Stakeholders”).[2]
Stakeholders that qualify to receive facilities and incentives are those that are engaged in horticulture activities, namely germination, harvest and post-harvest activities, processing, distribution, trade and marketing of horticulture products, research and development, and agritourism.[3]
