Export of Industrial Forestry Products Simplified

The Minister of Trade (“Minister”) has issued Regulation No. 97/M-DAG/PER/12/2014 on Export Provisions for Industrial Forestry Products (“2014 Regulation”).The 2014 Regulation redefines proceduresfor businesses to be acknowledged as a registered exporter of forestry products listed under Appendix I of the 2014 Regulation (“Forestry Products”).

Additionally, the 2014 Regulation also provides leniency for small-medium businesses to export Forestry Products as well as for the requirements to be appointed as a surveyor responsible for verifying Forestry Products.
