Following the issuance of Law No. 7 of 2021 on the Harmonization of Tax Regulations (“Law 7/2021”), the government has issued Regulation of the Government No. 44 of 2022 (“Regulation 44/2022”), which also stands as one of the implementing regulations to Law 7/2021. The issuance of this regulation repeals and replaces Regulation of the Government No. 1 of 2012 and its amendments (collectively referred to as “Regulation 1/2012”), which previously addressed the same matters.[1]
