Gas Pipeline Operators Face Fixed 30 June Deadline for Regulatory Account Reports

The Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (Badan Pengatur Hilir Minyak dan Gas Bumi – “BPH Migas”) has issued Regulation No. 4 of 2026 on Regulatory Accounts of Business Actors Conducting Natural Gas Transportation through Pipelines (“Regulation 4/2026”), which replaces and repeals Regulation of BPH Migas No. 21/P/BPH MIGAS/III/2011 on Regulatory Accounts of Natural Gas Transportation through Transmission Pipeline Business Activities (“Regulation 21/2011”).[1] According to its Recitals, Regulation 4/2026 is intended to improve how regulatory accounts are implemented and presented, with greater transparency and accountability.[2]
