BPOM to Tighten Risk Management Program and Offshore Audit Requirements: Input Open until 17 June 2026

The Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan – “BPOM”) is currently completing work on a new Draft Regulation on Procedures for the Issuance of Good Manufacturing Practices for Processed Food (Cara Produksi Pangan Olahan yang Baik – “CPPOB”) Implementation Licenses (“Draft Regulation”). If it is ultimately enforced, then this Draft Regulation will repeal and replace Regulation of BPOM No. 22 of 2021, which bears the same title as the Draft Regulation (“Regulation 22/2021”).[1]
