Control and Supervision of Medicines

The Government has issued Presidential Regulation No. 94 of 2007 to guarantee the procurement and supply of medicinal materials, medicines, and medical equipment that functions as a medicine to ensure that the community receives the highest level of health care and medicines available.

To give effect to this guarantee the government is committed to ensuring supply of medicinal materials, medicines, and medical equipment of types and at costs to be set by the Minister. The government also guarantees that where business cannot fulfill demands the government will make up any shortfall in supply.
