Roadmap to Control Health Impact of Cigarette Consumption

The Minister of Health (“Minister”) has issued Regulation No. 40 of 2013 on a Roadmap to Control the Health Impact of Cigarette Consumption (“Regulation”). The regulation aims to protect the health of the general public from the dangers associated with cigarette consumption.

The Annex to the Regulation embodies the roadmap to control the health impact of cigarette consumption (“Roadmap”). The Roadmap aims to be a guideline for the Central and Regional Governments in establishing health policies and drawing up strategies to control the negative health impacts of cigarette consumption. The Roadmap also serves as a reference for the general public to support anti-smoking programs.
