Enhancing Health Standards at Seaports and Airports

The Minister of Health has issued Regulation No. 44 of 2014 on Organizing Healthy Seaports and Airports (“Regulation”), setting out standards for secure, comfortable, clean and healthy seaports and airports throughout Indonesia.[1]

The Regulation provides guidelines for managers and operators of airports and seaports, authorities,[2] related agencies, business entities and their respective employees for creating and maintaining health standards to decrease health risks when carrying out activities at seaport and airport premises.[3]
