BPOM Issues New Provisions on the Reporting of Pharmaceutical Industry and Pharmaceutical Wholesaler Activities

In an attempt to provide a set of updated provisions that address mandatory reporting by pharmaceutical industries and pharmaceutical wholesalers (Pedagang Besar Farmasi – “PBF”) to the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan – “BPOM”), the BPOM has issued Regulation No. 2 of 2022 on the Reporting of Pharmaceutical Industry and Pharmaceutical Wholesaler Activities (“Regulation 2/2022”).[1] Previously, similar matters were addressed under the now-repealed Regulation of the BPOM No. 35 of 2019 on the Reporting of Pharmaceutical Industry Activities  (“Regulation 35/2019”).[2]
