BPOM Introduces New Collaborative Avenues for CSR in the Natural Medicines and Cosmetics Sector

In an effort to support the competitiveness of the country’s micro-, small- and medium-scale enterprises (Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah – “UMKM”) within the natural medicines and cosmetics sector, the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan – “BPOM”) has decided to introduce a foster parent program for application by said UMKM (“Foster Parent Program”) through the issuance of Decree of the Head of BPOM No. 390 of 2024 (“Decree 390/2024”) on Guidelines for the Implementation of the Foster Parent Program (“Guidelines”), which has been in effect since 15 October 2024.[1]
