In an effort to develop the horticulture industry, the Government has issued Government Regulation No. 25 of 2014 on Facilities and Incentives for Horticulture Businesses (?Regulation?). To achieve this objective, the central and regional governments (?Government?) will provide facilities and incentives for farmers, farmer associations, individuals and businesses engaged in horticulture businesses (collectively referred to as ?Stakeholders?).

The Minister of Forestry recently issued Regulation No. P.16/Menhut-II/2014 on Guidelines on Borrow-to-Use Forest Areas (?2014 Regulation?) to provide regulatory guidance for central and regional government institutions, private business entities, as well as non-profit foundations to secure a Borrow-to-Use Forest Area Permit (?Borrow-to-Use Permit?).
